Anger is def a Gout causer

I had gout and finally got rid of it after 30 days. The 1st two weeks I only took vitamins, digestive enzymes, black cherry extract and did my best to avoid high purine foods. Then I was finally able to see a doctor that was a rheumatologist and they prescribed Prednisone & Allopurinol. Two weeks after taking the meds the inflamation and pain were practically gone. Then last night went out with some friends birthday and drank too much and got in an argument and woke up in morning with a bad gout attack. Alcohol possibly played a role in it but I've drank on previous occaions and never had this serious of a flare up. The one difference in this night and those were my emotions were really reved up.

Totally agree 100%. My anger always amplifies any tendencies toward a gout attack. In fact when my gout is ebbing pent up anger can turn it around into a full blown attack. I think anger is far more crucial in diagnosing gout than MD’s are aware of due to their allopathic teachings.
