Hi Peter.Im 47 years old and had my first gout attack about 5 years ago.I started to feel sick and had the sweats about lunchtime and about 6 hours later my left ankle and both my knees swelled and seized up.I couldnt walk.I went to one doctor who told me it was gout.I didnt believe him.2nd doctor had no idea, sent me for tests and i ended up on cortizone.Problem fixed.Or so i thought.Im your typical bloke.Love a beer or 20.Love my Steak.Basically anything thats going to give me gout i love.Well just before christmas 2013 my left big to let go.Went to a new doctor.Told me its gout.I believed him.He gave me some proper gout drugs and while i was off over christmas i found your website, saw the cider vinegar thing and instantly remembered my late grandmother telling me about the apple cider vinegar and honey in warm water drink. You see she told me to take it for the arthritis i have in my spine that i was born with. That was 30 years ago and at some stage i stopped taking it.My wife found the good stuff that hasnt been pasturized at the local produce store and i started taking it again.Havent had an attack until last week.guess what.I hadnt been taking the cider vinegar. And yes id been having a few bevvies. So im now back to having my juice twice a day.It doesnt taste the best but id rather have that than have the pain from another attack. Thanks for listening and keep up the good work.Cheers Big Phil
