Diet Can Have a BIG Effect on Gout Attacks

I am 68 years old and a long time gout sufferer. I cannot beging to tel you the number of times I have awakened in the middle of the night with a big toe that is giving me intense, excruciating pain. Even the slight pressure of the sheet was enough to sat me screaming. I have tried any number of remidies, but have learned over the years that the best way to control, minimize, and even prevent attacks is through proper diet, one which eliminates or significantly reduces intake of those foods which are likely to cause gout.
