Gout is more to do with anger Management than diet

I think you are right about the conclusion. I am 38, vegetarian, not overweight and do not consume alchohol. I has my first gout attack 5 days back. Its getting better now. I feel the only change in my life style was my ability to handle the stress and manage my anger. I heading a construction project and things are comming together as this is the final stage. I had strong anger bursts 3-4 times in last 15 days. I feel some how your body sense it and reciprocate to it in its own fashion.

I am starting to believe this
by: RR

I had a gout flare last month, tested my blood and my levels were fine, got treated and better but with the COVID contingency people that I work with got meaner and menacing so after an altercation over the phone the next day I got a milder gout flare on my other foot. Then I remembered that previuos to the first attack I got another altercation... so I am now considering stop working with these people (rude Colombian pseudo upscale entrepreneurs)...

Your and stress/anxiety and gout
by: Anonymous

My husband has had gout flare ups this summer and did not know what it was...he has major depression and anxiety. In the last few years he is unable to control his outbursts and snaps at his family in a blink of an eye. I am sure that the two are linked and it is getting worse. He is impossible to live with and is only getting worse.
