i woke up to pain and a red toe, it moved to heel and up foot, next day it was in left foot. right foot was killing me. i waited like a fool until my ankles were swollen and red also.it than moved into my shins where it started causing dents like someone kicked me. im 6;2 300 lbs not that overweight just big guy.i dont do drugs nor drink ever.i noticed pain in my big toe for years but played it off. now my hands fingers, and forearms are sore and red like sunburn. i went to er nurse said not gout, they admitted me and next day i demanded a uric acid test, it was 9.8. i believe thats high. they gave me meds and an hour later said is it better? i checked myself out, my heart doc thinks it has something to do with my hypertension but it just wont go away..anyone else have numbers that high or have it last over 2 months?thx dan..
