I am 44,female and have suffered with gout for the last 10 years, I am slightly overweight and have high blood pressure, over the years i have had an attack at least 2 to 4 times a year but recently i seem to have an attack every 3 to 4 weeks in the toes feet and ankles , of course i have taken all the tabels that are available but they dont seem to be working , so i checked the internet to see if there was something else to take and came across ACV and BS , I have just started the ACV , I took 2 TBS mixed with 1 glass of water yesterday 3 times per day , i did not notice any change the first day but when I woke the next morning I did notice a slight change ,not as sore, I will continue with this remedy every day to see how I go ,I have also decided to change my eating habits such as no red meat and foods that have a high purine content and of course no acholol ,which will be the hardest thing to do, I am hoping that this works for me , I am willing to try anything at this point to start to live a normal life, everybody thinks that acholol always causes the attacks but i think it is a combination of acholol and your diet ,though I dont drink beer but love the wine,I now have a list of foods that have high purine levels and these are the ones to advoid ,if this remedy works I will kill 3 birds with one stone, lose weight, lower blood pressure, ( which i will monitor everyday-i am currently not on meds for high blood pressure ) and cure my gout, I hope it happens,I will update in a few weeks to let you know how all is going,

Dangers of other drug use for gout
by: Frank

Hi Cath,

Godwin recommended taking Cimetidine. Be careful as it affects the metabolism of estrogen,by enhancing it. This can lead to galactorrhea ( spontaneous flow of milk from the breast ) or for men it can cause Gynecomastia ( mammary gland growth). Consult a doctor first, then get a second opinion.

Don't suffer Kath
by: Godwin Symons

Kath. A few years ago I also gave up trying everything to help with my gout. At that time I had spent 10's of thousand of dollars trying remedies, including narural ones. None of the natural ones work! Some convential madicine worked, with enormous side effects. Out of the blue, one day a pharmacist said to me take Cimitidine 400mg 4X a day for 3 or 4 days and it should help. Well IT DID! Cimitidine is an H2 blocker but there is no reason that it can lower the acid that causes gout as well. It has minimal side effects. Give it a try. My email is [email protected]. Best of luck. From Godwin.
