My Gout story

(nand)

I am so eager to make a contribution to this site and would therefore proceed as follows;

1. I am convinced in my own way that we become victims to gout attacks and other diseases when our blood ph levels are not within the desired ratings,that is, below the 7.4 reading. Below this reading the body is termed acidic.Being a gout sufferer I know what the feeling is like before an attack and I also know when it is imminent.
During the earlier years I was totally dependent on allupurinol and
colchicine and in cases of severe attacks I would seek the help of a doctor.
However for some time now I have been using some alkalizing products such as lemons,watermellons, cucumbers and celery in an effort to reduce the acidity of the body.
I found that I was able to avoid a gout attack for almost a year despite the occasional binges.I must admit that it is only when I become complacent as of recent that the attack came on.
All the alkalizing products mentioned above are usually blended in water and consumed before bedtime.
I will be happy to share any new experience with all the persons who have made their contributions on this site.
