NGO worker Trying ACV for gout

by Ounkham Souksavanh
(Vientiane, Laos)

I had a very bad attack of gout on my left toe. I was suffering almost 3 weeks. I am now 95% recovered by taking anti-inflamatory remedy (Ibuprofen + Cochicine). Yesterday, I tried to search information that can help me with a natural healing without drug. Today, I started one tablespoon of ACV + 1/2 tablespoon Honey dissolved with warm water. I'll share with you all later in a week if it works. Hope it works for me!

I agree - Gout reduced by relaxation
by: Peter

I think your change in diet is the major contributor to your reduction of gout attacks.

Try stopping ACV and see if you get any tingling leading to a gout attack.
I have changed my diet and do not take ACV unless I feel a gout attack coming on.

Relaxation is a major contributor to reducing gout.
Relaxation reduces stress, which causes acid levels to fluctuate in your body.
Less stress = less gout attacks.

NGO worker Trying ACV for gout
by: Ounkham Souksavanh

After I have been taking ACV for a few months, I am not quite sure whether ACV works itself or my diet (avoid eating meats, beans and seafood and avoid drinking all kinds of alcohol) works for me or both work together for me. One of the important things I have learned is relaxation which I believe can prevent gout attacks.
