Stressed person

I think there is something in this. I've had gout on and off, so have adapted diet significantly but recently have found that even with extreme observance ( ie no alcohol ) and v low purine diet I still suffer, there is a parallel with my ulcerative colitis- in remission for a number of years, then a flare up at the same time as the gout- all at the same time as I'm going through the most stressful time at work, probably ever!

Stressed Person ___me :)...and you :) and us all! :)

Peter outlines the amount of (or mixture*) of apple cider vinegar, distilled water, and organic honey in the link/tab above to the left. It is 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 Tablespoon distilled water, and 1 Tablespoon organic honey, taken twice a day after meals. I bought the BRAGG brand....www.bragg.com or at your local stores...publix carries some of Bragg's items as well as health food stores.

I'm in a constant state of stress I believe...as I work 6 days a week at a chiropractor's office doing massage and other things, rent a massage room for my business, help my boyfriend with the business aspect of his lawn service, rent rooms in my home, own a home, have two grown children, and it's TAX TIME! Dear God Help me! Thank you Peter for your wonderful site!

Levi-- you can purchase and download Peter's ebook for further information that is very helpful/useful.

Take care, Terri

direct corralation with stress and gout
by: levi

i agree that there is a direct link to stress and gout episodes. i had my first episode about 3 yrs ago and maybe had 4 flare~ups until 2010 when my life took an emotional turn and now the bouts with gout are at least 1 every other month. ive suffered 2 episodes in the same month as of this posting ! ive done the steroid thing and the anti gout medicine to almost no avail. found this site by chance and am so glad i did !!! im gonna get back to basics and try the apple~cider vinegar & honey regime. does anyone know how many times a day you should have a tsp of this mixture ? good luck and less stress to all of us :) thanks, Levi

We need to win the lottery and chill in Fiji :). Good luck to you...I haven't a clue how to rid myself of stress...especially in this economy! One day at a time. Take care. Terri
p.s. I wonder if pot helps with gout pain...we need medicinal use prescriptions! I hope Florida adopts it. Gout sufferers could certainly benefit from it! Where can we write to push for it?
