Update

I found a registered dietitian online, whom I will be seeing tomorrow. I feel grateful that I am getting in to see someone right away, because this stuff is overwhelming, especially since my kidney stone is of oxylase content. UGH...Thank you for your website! You are doing such a wonderful public service, Peter!

The dietitian told me not to focus on what I can't eat, but rather to lose weight, by sticking to the calorie diet that she provided for me yesterday. She said to only eat the high purines once a week (maximum) 2-3 oz (meats), medium purines 1-2 x/week (meats). I'm 220 lbs. The goal is to exercise 1 hr a day and stick to this 1600 calorie diet. I had a little burning in my esophagus from the ? apple cider vinegar...not sure but I have to watch out for that. ugh. I felt my foot yesterday :(...I'm off the steroids now. At least I feel hopeful now.
